Star Trek: Starbase 777 - salt-vampire-smoothies

Sinau walked into the smoothie shop, adjusting her uniform a bit, stepping over to the front counter to order a strawberry smoothie. Taking it and sitting nervously as she waited for Yaveru. Maybe asking through messages was a bad idea, or maybe a better one. Should have thought about it more, maybe then she wouldn't be bouncing her leg in her seat. The woman waited patiently despite her nerves, thinking on what to do.

The Trill-Andorian stopped just behind Sinau, waiting a moment before tapping her shoulder. “Boo.” She giggled, awaiting the Romulan’s reaction. Old habits die hard after all.

Sinau jumped slightly in her seat, turning around to see Yaveru with a smug expression, the brief surprised feeling now a far more relaxed and warm one. "You always get me." She said before giggling too, smiling happily. "I'm glad you came." The woman stated, standing up to meet Yaveru's eyes a bit better. (edited)

“Of course I do.” She sat as soon as Sinau stood up, as if apart of a planned move. “Well, now what?” She said, looking directly up. “I’ve never seen you this tall before.”

Sinau chuckled. "I've never seen you so short." The romulan joked as she looked down at Yaveru. "You want to grab your own smoothie? We'll go on a walk after.... if you want." The woman added, placing her smoothie on the table.

“Nah… it’s alright.” She giggled, a smile forming on her face as she waved. “Hellooo.” She chuckled, clearly confused on what to say next.

Sinau took a seat back on the chair. Quickly thinking on what to do next. "Want to share mine?" The Romulan offered, pushing the cup to her friend a bit. "How have things been lately by the way?" Sinau asked, putting a head in her hand, supported by the table.

“Wha- No, urm, it’s fine.” She chuckled, pushing it back. “Things are good. Starfleet’s been fine. Missions are okay.” She paused, trying to think further. “That’s all I can think of.”

Sinau blushed, realizing that her offer was kind of... no really stupid. Taking it back to take a small sip. Looking back at Yaveru. "Cmon, surely mores happened." The woman said with eccentricity. "Also! Anywhere you want to go to?" She added om quickly, stuttering a bit initially.

"Eh... I've just been.... working? This isn't the Enterprise y'know." She chuckled, poking her back with her shoulder to tease her. "Hmm, anywhere's fine. Where haven't you been on the station."

Sinau thought for a second. Although she hadn't been here long, where had she not gone? The more the woman thought, the more she realized wow she didn't do a ton. "A few places, I haven't gone to the garden." The romulan stated, tapping her chin on thought, thinking more on where could be a nice place for a friendly stroll or sit down.
